Frutchey Bean Co.

Neil French and Bill Spike identified this photo as a Frutchey Bean elevator on the west bank of the Saginaw River, near M-46. “Plant No. 2” (across the top of the cement bins and the low-slung building, foreground left) implies this is one of several Frutchey facilities, with others in Oakley and Cass City. The vinyl-roofed auto on the far right appears to belong to the 1960s or 1970s. Frutchey was bought by The Andersons in 1981. What more can you add?
