MFB Queen Contest

Michigan Farm Bureau’s annual Queen Contest was a function of the Young Farmer program until 1977. It started at county level and culminated at the MFB annual meetings, attracting the most member involvement. Thanks to the deep memories of Dave Meeuwse, Matt Scramlin, Bill Spike, and Pauline Harris, we know this photo is of 1971 Farm Bureau Queen Jackie (Shade) Scramlin, passing the title to her successor, Peggy Kingsbury in 1972.
